Day 1 - Travel to Mexico
Meet your Evolve tour director in Mexico City, board our private coach bus. Guided walking tour of Mexico City’s vibrant street art. Dinner and get settled into our hotel for the night.
Day 2 - Art & Culinary
Tour the Palacio Nacional – explore the history of Mexican civilization from the Aztecs to post-revolution. Tour the Frida Kahlo Museum, explore the work of painter Frida Kahlo. Cooking class this evening – work with a local chef to purchase items and cook up a tasty storm.
Day 3 - Tenancingo
Day trip to Tenancingo to explore the art of textile weaving – meet local rebozo weavers in their workshops for hands-on textile demonstrations. Visit the ancient Aztec ruins of Cuauhtinchan. Dinner and live entertainment this evening.
Day 4 - Taxco
Day trip to Taxco, via Cuernavaca, the “City of Eternal Spring”. Tour the Museuo Robert Brady in Cuernavaca, Brady’s collection of art from Mexico and around the world. Admire the Santa Prisca Cathedreal in Taxco. Visit a silver workshop to observe first-hand how local silversmiths and artists produce their jewelry. Overnight back in Mexico City.
Day 5 - Community Service & Beach Snorkeling
Final morning in Mexico City with a visit to Galería OMR, one of the capital’s best contemporary art galleries. Transfer to the airport after an amazing trip to Mexico together.
