Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel to Bali, Indonesia

Board our group flights to Indonesia, via connection(s).

Day 2 - Arrive in Denpasar, Bali

Arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport, where we will be greeted by our Evolve guide.

Load our private transfer bus and head to our hotel in South Kuta for check in. Eat dinner if time permits.

Day 3 - Explore South Kuta

After Breakfast dive into Indonesian Culture with a visit to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park. Enjoy their performances of Indonesian traditional music and dances, especially Balinese; Kecak Dance.

After lunch we will depart on an adventure and visit one of the most famous temples of Bali. On our way, we will stop by Padang Padang beach for our swim in Balinese water. The Uluwatu Temple, or Pura Luhur Uluwatu, beautifully perched on top of a cliff 70 metres above the Indian Ocean. The stunning Cliffside temple is a significant spiritual pillar in Bali, and we will have the chance to tour and explore the ground, ending with a famous sunset.

Return to Kuta to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Depart on an evening walk in the area before returning to our hotel at night.

Day 4 - Explore South Kuta

Check out and head to Denpasar City. On our way there, enjoy the sun on Bali’s most famous beach – Kuta Beach. Here you have the option of taking surf lessons, shopping, getting massages, and more.

Check in at our hotel in Denpasar and enjoy a guided tour of the capital city, highlighting the most significant and historical sites of the area. Visit Puputan Square, where we will learn about the famous (and suicidal) final stand of the Balinese against the invading Dutch forces in 1906. Explore the stunning Bajra Sandhi Monument. We will also stop at Jagatnatha Temple at the east of Puputan Square.

Day 5 - Denpasar City

We will participate in a traditional cooking workshop. First, visit the local market to pick up fresh ingredients. Learn local techniques and recipes and we’ll be able to enjoy our delicious meal afterwards.

In the afternoon, visit the traditional Kertalangu Cultural Village, the perfect place to learn all about Balinese culture. Tucked away in paddy fields, we will watch Balinese performances, taste traditional cuisine, plant paddies with our own hands, and more. We will have a hands-on day of learning and experiencing the process of rice planting, creating various handicraft products, and visiting “Pesraman” Cultural Village.

Day 6 - North Bali

After breakfast, we will depart to the north of the Island. Along the way, we will see Pura Ulun Danu Bratan temple, one of the most famous water temples in Bali.

Followed by a short transfer to Banjar Hot Springs, where we will enjoy a bath in hot spring water.

We will check in at our hotel in Lovina and enjoy the rest of the day on the beach.

Day 7 - West Bali National Park and Ubud

We will check out of the hotel after breakfast, to head to West Bali National Park. With a park guide, explore any of the trails to enjoy the unspoiled beauty: green forests, mountain ranges, clear blue water, and pristine beaches.

At the end of the trek we drive for 4 hours to Ubud, a town famous for fine arts, dance, and music. On the way we will make a stop the Tegalalang Rice Terrace.

After checking in at our new accommodation, we will walk a short distance for a delicious local dinner. Head back to the hotel and relax by the pool after a long day.

Day 8 - Ubud

Today, we will explore the beautiful neighborhood of Ubud. We will start the day by taking a walk on the scenic Campuhan Ridge Walk. We will stop to see the beautiful Saraswati Temple and its lotus pond and enjoy some shopping at Ubud Market. We will also have the chance to check out traditional and modern Balinese art at the Neka Art Museum.

In the afternoon, we will play with the monkeys at the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary. Enjoy a cool break from the sun in the forest while you feed the monkeys some bananas. On our way home, we will stop by Goa Gajah, the Elephant Cave.

Day 9 - Mount Batur Volcano and Tirtagangga

Start today with a hike of Mount Batur Volcano. Our easy/moderate trek to the summit of Mt. Batur (1717 meters) will allow us to experience the awesome beauty of an active volcano. Enjoy a light lunch at the summit while we witness the stunning views of the surrounding crater and lake.

In the afternoon, we will visit Tirtagangga. The lovely water-dominated garden complex is an oasis within the green border of the paddy fields and is perfectly decorated with some sculptures. Built in 1946 by King Karangasem, the beautiful park is recognized as one of 40 most amazing garden complexes in Asia.

Head back and enjoy some free time to swim, shop, walk, and eat dinner as a group.


Day 10 - Final Day in Bali

On our final day, have an early start to explore the Sanur Morning Market, where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables. Spend the rest of the day doing some last minute souvenir shopping and enjoying the local cuisine.

In the late evening, transfer to the airport to board the plane.

Day 11 - Arrive Home

Arrive back home eager to tell our family and friends about this amazing experience.
