Day 1 - TRAVEL TO ITALY
Depart on your overnight flight to Naples, Italy via connection(s).
Day 2 - WELCOME TO NAPLES
Tour the Naples Underground Geothermal Zone. Running beneath the Italian city of Naples and the surrounding area is an underground geothermal zone and several tunnels dug during the ages. Dinner & hotel.
Day 3 - EXPLORE NAPLES
Tour the Naples National Archaeological Museum. Enjoy an outdoor activity with a light hike up Mount Vesuvius. Evening hands-on Italian cooking class!
Day 4 - POMPEII AND HERCULANEUM
Guided tour of Pompeii providing detailed insight into the life of a city at the height of the Roman Empire. Lunch along Via Abbondanza. Tour Herculaneum, another UNESCO site. Travel to Rome.
Day 5 - VATICAN & ROME
Guided visit to Vatican City – Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica. Free time for lunch at Piazza Navona. Visit the Pantheon architectural masterpiece. Visit the famous Trevi Fountain. Evening in Piazza di Spagna
Day 6 - ENJOY ROME
Morning walking tour of Rome’s highlights. Tour the Roman Forum & the Coliseum.
Day 7 - TRAVEL TO FLORENCE
Visit the Academia to see the original David by Michelangelo. Explore Uffizi Gallery to see works by da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rembrandt and more. Climb the Duomo to see all of Florence. Evening Italian cooking workshop
Day 8 - PISA
Visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Lunch in Pisa and then shopping time. Group dinner and evening exploration.
Day 9 - WELCOME TO VENICE
Travel to Venice. Arrive in Venice, world-famous for its canals. Explore the city. Visit St Mark’s Basilica.
Day 10 - EXPLORE VENICE
Vaporetto ride, a local water ferry. Take the vaporetto to Murano Island where we will the chance to see a glass blowing demonstration by one of the talented local artists. Continue on to Burano Island, stroll through the charming streets. Return to Venice
Day 11 - WELCOME TO ZAGREB, CROATIA
Day 12 - EXPLORE PLITVICE LAKAES AND ZAGREB
Peruse the stalls of the Dolac Market. Travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Embark on one of the may trails to see the park’s famous pools and waterfalls. Time to explore Zagreb city centre to view the Austro Hungarian architecture.
Day 13 - Homeward Bound
Begin our journey home after an amazing trip to Italy & Croatia together.
