Portugal offers a people and culture unlike the rest of the mainland continent, offering travelers a further authentic and unique experience while retaining the comforts of 1st world travel.
We will focus on the history of Spain and Portugal, focusing on language, colonialism, culture and more. This trip will be interspersed with interactive activities, such as language classes and cooking classes, as well as fun physical activities, including hiking and beach time.

Day 1 - Travel to Lisbon
Overnight flight to Lisbon, via connection.
Day 2 - Tour Lisbon
Walk around the city’s diverse “barrios” and monuments, Gothic Ruins, Baroque churches and local markets, discovering the real Lisbon far beyond the major tourist attractions! Dinner as a group of traditional Portuguese cuisine
Day 3 - Lisbon
Visit the Mosteiro dos Jeronimos built by King Manoel who sailed from Portugal in 1497 and discovered a sea route to India. Guided, panoramic tour of Lisbon and visit the Padrão and the Castelo de São Jorge. Visit the Alfama.
Day 4 - Sintra Day Trip, Continue to Évora
Travel to Sintra by train. Begin in the historic center of Sintra and the Palacio Nacional de Sintra. Visit the Palacio Nacional and the church of Igreja de Santa Maria. Tour the restored ruin of the Moors castle and The Pena Palace. Board our train from Sintra to Évora
Day 5 - Évora
Tour the ancient Roman Temple of Évora. Nearby, whitewashed houses surround the Cathedral of Évora, a massive Gothic structure begun in the 12th century. The Igreja de São Francisco features Gothic and baroque architecture along with the skeleton-adorned Chapel of Bones. Tour and explore all the historic city has to offer.
Day 6 - Travel Day to Seville, Spain
Day 7 - Seville
Monumental Sevilla walking tour. Visit the Jewish Quarter, enter the Gothic Cathedral and explore the thousand-year-old Royal Palace. Stroll along the ‘Arenal’, past a bullfighting ring, visit the Cathedral of Tauromaquia and enjoy the scenic strip of the Guadalquivir river. Enjoy a live Flamenco show and Tapas for dinner
Day 8 - Granada
Train from Seville to Granada. Tour of the historic Moorish quarter. Visit the Alhambra Palace which was built during the Moorish reign in the 15th century and still stands proud and majestic on the hills of Granada. Explore the Arabic souk (bazaar).
Day 9 - Travel to Barcelona
Scenic train ride from Granada to Barcelona. Welcome to Barcelona.
Day 10 - Barcelona
Morning tour of Barcelona including Sagrada Familia, Paseo de Gracia, Plaza de Catalunua, Plaza Espana, the Magic Fountain of Montjuic, Montjuic Hill, and Barrio Gotico. Explore Parque Guell, visit the Room of a Hundred Columns, see the Casa – Museu. Free time to explore Las Ramblas.
Day 11 - Homeward Bound
Begin our journey home after a great trip to Portugal & Spain together!
