
France and Italy – Culture, Arts, History Tour
In many ways, France sets the cultural standard for exquisite taste: from culinary innovation to fashion, from history to high art.
In Italy, we will canal through Venice and learn how to blow glass. Participate in an authentic Italian cooking class (because who doesn’t love pizza & pasta?). We will also learn about the old Roman Empire with its history centered in Rome & Italy.

Day 1 - Overnight Travel
Depart for Paris, France.
Day 2 - Paris
Tour the trendy neighborhood of Montmartre. At night enjoy a live musical or play performance. Participate in an afternoon walking tour of the city to see the famed Notre Dame Basilica amongst other highlights. Eat a traditional French Bistro dinner this evening.
Day 3 - Paris
Visit the most famous sight in all of Paris – the Eiffel Tower. Commute to The Louvre where you will take a tour of the most famous museum in the whole world. Other highlights of the day include a close look at the Arc de Triomphe and the Musee d’Orsay. Take a boat trip down the River Seine.
Day 4 - Versailles
Discover more about this famous city steeped in culture and history. Set in the western suburbs of Paris, it is one of the most important tourist destinations in France. Come and wander through the former capital of the kingdom of France to explore the remains of its royal past.
Day 5 - Florence
The museums and galleries which we will be seeing include The Academia, The Bargello and Uffizi Gallery. In the evening we will discover the essence of Florence by walking along the Luagrno and over the Ponte Vecchio Bridge.
Day 6 - Florence
Enjoy a walking tour of Florence in the morning. In the afternoon, explore some of the outdoor markets and other shops of Florence. In the evening, take part in cooking our own dinner! Spend the evening at a cooking class as Florentine chefs help students to create a real Italian dinner.
Day 7 - Pisa and La Spezia
Stop briefly in Pisa to have a look at the Leaning Tower of Pisa, then train to La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The 5 villages that make up Cinque Terre are some of the most beautiful villages in the world, located on the Mediterranean coast. Walk and hike between the 5 towns and stop for many pictures along the way.
Day 8 - Rome
Arrive in Rome. Most of the historic sights in Rome date back to the time of the Roman Empire and have survived thousands of years. Some of the highlights include the Colliseum, Campo de’ Fiori and the Pantheon. Get ready to be impressed by the sophistication and beauty of old Roman ruins which remain part of the modern city of Rome.
Day 9 - Vatican
Tour the Vatican Museum where the Sistine chapel is and see the inside of St. Peter’s cathedral. If you’re lucky, the Pope might even wave to us from his apartment high above St Peter’s square! Evening feast of savory pizzas and pastas for which Italy is known.
Day 10 - Homeward Bound
Begin our trip home after an amazing trip to Europe together.
