What To Expect

Guatemala is a unique and mystical destination that awaits travelers from all over the world. We will meet and work with indigenous communities, focusing on immersion and cultural integration. We will discover the secrets of the ancient Mayan people and their modern-day lifestyles. Enjoy local Latin cuisine, practice our Spanish, and so much more!

Educational Benefits

Ancient Mayan culture is woven into the modern fabric of Guatemala, offering a more diverse and unique modern population compared to other more touristy Central American countries.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel to Guatemala

Drive to Antigua, in the shadow of Volcano Agua.

Day 2 - Antigua

Guided walking tour of Antigua. Take in the stunning colonial architecture, intact ruins from earthquakes and volcanoes over the years. Afternoon zip lining tour through rainforest canopy.

Days 3 - 8 - Community Service & Homestay

The remainder of our trip will be spent immersed in our local rural community. WE will aid daily in a community reforestation and water preservation program through a locally run NGO. After hard mornings and afternoons of work, we will have the opportunity to visit with school children, take Spanish lessons, learn the arts and crafts of the local community, authentic cooking classes, and even spend the night at local families homes for homestays if desired.
