Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel to Sudbury

Stop at Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons en route, a Huron Iroquois historical village. Enjoy group programming at Sainte-Marie, including basket weaving, fire starting and old-fashioned cooking. Continue on to Sudbury to prepare for the adventure ahead!

Day 2 - Explore Sudbury

In the morning, visit The Big Nickel and then embark on an Underground Tour of Sudbury. Next we visit MacLean Engineering Gallery for a King Tutankhamun: Treasures from the Pharaoh’s Tomb program. Enjoy the exhibits and an Imax movie at the Science North Center.

Day 3 - Manitoulin Island & Tobermory

Explore South Baymouth, Manitoulin Island, on a guided hike along former logging paths. Lunch is on the boardwalk with a photo-op at the lighthouses by the port. Now we embark on the ‘Chi-Cheemaun’ ferry, named for the Ojibway word for “big canoe”. Enjoy the the night in beautiful Tobermory.

Day 4 - Outdoor Education & Homeward Bound

Spend the morning at an Outdoor Education Centre in the Bruce Peninsula. Starts with a Survival Game, before we hone our hunting skills with an archery lesson. After lunch, we depart for home after a great trip.
