Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel to Europe

Depart on your overnight flight to Amsterdam, Netherlands, via connection(s).

Day 2 - EMBARK ON RIVER CRUISE

Welcome aboard! Your river cruise adventure begins. After getting settled into your cabins, meet the ship’s crew, and enjoy dinner and a welcome cocktail. Enjoy an evening boat tour of Amsterdam’s famous canals for an introduction to the capital from a unique point of view.

Day 3 - AMSTERDAM

Panoramic coach tour of Amsterdam, to discover the city’s fascinating history. Visit Volendam and Zaanse Schans. Stop in Zaanse Schans to learn how traditional Dutch clogs are made by expert craftsmen. Evening in Amsertdam

Day 4 - ARNHEM

Guided tour of Arnhem’s Open Air Museum, a national museum displaying the history of the Netherlands in a large outdoor park featuring antique houses, farms and factories. Return to ship, continue cruising

Day 5 - DELTA WORKS, MIDDELBURG

Morning excursion to the Delta Works, a series of dikes, dams, storm surge barriers and more that protect the area from flooding.  Learn about the fascinating Eastern Scheldt Storm Surge Barrier and visit the Deltapark Neeltje Jans. Explore the charm of Middelburg.

Day 6 - GHENT, BRUGES

Walking tour of Ghent to discover beautiful architecture and visit highlights such as the Saint Bavo Cathedral, Cathedral square, Gothic Belfry, Cloth Hall, Castle of the counts and more! Depart to Bruges. Enjoy a guided excursion of the “Venice of the North”

Day 7 - ANTWERP, ROTTERDAM

Guided tour of Antwerp, including the Steen castle, the Scheldt, Old Town, Butcher’s Hall, the Grand Place, Town Hall, the Gothic Cathedral and more. Afternoon cruising to Rotterdam.

Day 8 - KEUKENHOF GARDENS

Partake in an excursion to the beautiful Keukenhof Gardens. Enjoy a day of exploration amongst the more than seven million tulips in bloom, in the “most beautiful spring garden in the world.” Stroll through the Historical Garden, enjoy the art located throughout the park, learn about bees and butterflies in the insect garden or even take a selfie in the Selfie Garden!

Day 9 - RIVER CRUISE FINISHES IN AMSTERDAM

Arrive back in Amsterdam. Transfer to your Amsterdam hotel, check in and get settled. Participate in a cooking class to learn how to make traditional food from the region.

Day 10 - ANNE FRANK HOUSE, GOUDA, KINDERDIJK

Visit the Anne Frank museum to see her hiding place and learn about her inspiring story and her life. Explore the town of Gouda, for which the world famous cheese variety is named after. Visit Kinderdijk, a small unique village known for its network of 19 windmills which date back to the 1700s. Return to Amsterdam

Day 11 - AMSTERDAM

Visit to beautiful Vondelpark, the largest city park in Amsterdam. Enjoy Albert Cuypmarkt, the busiest daytime market in the Netherlands. Final dinner in Europe.

Day 12 - Homeward Bound

Homeward bound after an incredible tour to Holland and Belgium together.
