Day 1 - Travel to Panama
Take a guided tour of the Panama City. Visit Casco Viejo, the historic district of Panama City. Also visit Plaza de la Independencia, the National Theatre of Panama, El Palacio de las Garzas (home of the Panamanian President), and much more.
Day 2 - Spanish Lesson Panama Canal!
Start off our day with an immersive Spanish class in Panama City. Later, drive over the Bridge of the Americas. Visit the Miraflores Visitor Center, which introduces and teaches about the Panama Canal. Watch mammoth ocean liners maneuver the narrow waterways. Ancon Hill visit on our way home.
Day 3 - Travel to Boquete
Also known as the ‘Valley of Flowers and Eternal Spring’, Boquete is home to world-class flora and fauna, a diverse local community, and many opportunities for eco and adventure travel.
Days 4 - 5 - Spanish lessons & Community Immersion
We will start off each morning with a group Spanish lesson with a local instructor. We will have opportunities to hone our understanding of the language, and go out into the community to put our linguistic skills to work! For the afternoons we will be using our Spanish within the loal community – at a primary school, helping work organic farms, and more.
Days 6 - 7 - Spanish Lessons & Guided Hiking Tour
Complete the 10 km Quetzals trail in 2 days, 1 night. Explore the gorgeous scenery in the cloud forest, hoping to spot the elusive but stunning Quetzal Bird, taking in the scenery from our elevated viewing points, and much more. Each morning will start off with a Spanish class before we hit the trail hiking.
Days 8 - 9 - Spanish & Adventure!
Begin each morning with an immersive Spanish class at a local Spanish center.
Afternoons will contain adventure programming:
Zipline: through Central America’s rich and bio-diverse cloud forest.
Coffee Tour: Explore the process of planting, harvesting, and producing coffee for people around the world to enjoy.
Horseback Riding: Enjoy touring the rural countryside of the highlands of Caldera on horseback! .
Hot Spring Tour: Enjoy four natural hot springs are known for their healing elements, with hot water temperatures ranging from 38°C – 46°C.
Day 10 - Homeward Bound
Say goodbye to Panama and board our group flight home.
