Day 1 - Overnight Flight
Board your flight for Portugal
Day 2 - Porto
Explore Porto. Evening activities, group dinner, and settle in this evening.
Day 3 - Porto
Guided tour of Porto. Visit the tall bell tower of the grandest church in the area, Torre dos Clérigos. Evening cruise down the Douro River.
Day 4 - Coimbra
Stop by Buçaco. Walk through the mountain range and explore the beautiful botanical gardens. Enjoy a guided tour of Coimbra, the library at the old University of Coimbra. Next, explore ancient aqueducts and go to the Old Town.
Day 5 - Fatima to Obidos
Take a guided tour of Fatima and learn about the Marian apparitions of 1917. Continue on to Obidos. If your trip is in July, we will visit the Óbidos Medieval Market which is held at the castle!
Days 6 - 7 - Lisbon
Visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Belém Tower and Jerónimos Monastery – as well as the Castelo de São Jorge. Take an excursion to Sintra and Cascais where you will visit famed palaces. Enjoy evening traditional meals and live music.
Day 8 - Evora to Algarve
Travel to Evora, one of the most ancient towns in Europe, with medieval walls and a Roman temple. Continue on to Algarve, the southernmost region of Portugal, where the prices are low and the beaches are beautiful. Millions visit Algarve each year to be amazed by its beauty.
Day 9 - Algarve
Spend the day enjoying yourself and touring Algarve. Have a farewell feast this evening.
Day 10 - Homeward Bound
Begin journey home after an amazing trip to Portugal.
