Day 1 - Travel to Washington D.C!
Arrive in Washington D.C! Enjoy a welcome dinner, before embarking on a walking tour of the Capital and National Mall. Highlights include: Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and the Reflecting Pool.
Day 2 - Explore Washington D.C
Arrive at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum for a self-discovery tour of the powerful exhibitions. Enjoy lunch at Union Station. See the play “One Destiny” at Ford Theatre, the site of the April 14, 1865 assassination of President Lincoln. Followed by a visit to the Petersen House and Center. Enjoy a guided tour of the Pentagon, the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense. Photo-op in front of the White House. Enjoy dinner and embark on an evening boat cruise along the Potomac River to see Washington D.C. lit up at night.
Day 3 - Explore Washington D.C
Arrive at the Arlington National Cemetery, where John F. Kennedy is buried and more than 130 funeral services are held each week. Enjoy an interpretive bus tour, including a visit to the nearby U.S. Marine Corps Memorial. For lunch we’ll head to one of D.C’s premier food and art markets for lunch and souvenir shopping: Eastern Market. This afternoon we will explore everything the Smithsonian Institution has to offer. The Smithsonian Institution—the world’s largest museum and research complex—includes 19 museums and galleries and the National Zoological Park. Enjoy dinner, before heading to a hilarious live improv show.
Day 4 - Homeward Bound
Check-out of the hotel, load luggage onto bus, and depart. Say goodbye to Washington D.C. as we begin our drive home. Stops en route for lunch, restrooms, snack, and stretching.
