When planning or traveling with Evolve Tours, questions naturally come up. We’ve got answers, here are the most common ones teachers and parents ask.
We handle all rebooking and logistics so groups aren’t left stranded. Our team monitors flights in real time, stays in touch with airlines, and ensures students and teachers are supported until they reach their destination safely.
Yes. We do everything we can to make our programs accessible. While some destinations have limitations, we work closely with families, schools, and local partners to adapt itineraries, provide alternative activities, and ensure every student can participate as fully as possible.
Trips are active but always manageable. Expect daily walking tours, hands-on workshops, and outdoor exploration. We can adapt the pace and intensity depending on group needs.
Both! Many schools travel during March Break, May/June, or summer. We also design custom programs to fit your school calendar and curriculum needs.
Evolve Tours trips are designed for middle school, high school, and post-secondary groups. We adjust activities, pace, and content to match the age and learning goals of your students.
Each trip is led by a professional Evolve Tour Director alongside the school’s teachers and chaperones. We also collaborate with local guides and experts who provide authentic, on-the-ground knowledge and connection.
We know affordability matters. That’s why we offer fundraising guides, resources, and creative ideas to help schools and students reach their goals. Many groups successfully fundraise a significant portion of their trip with our support.
We recommend starting 12–18 months in advance to secure the best flights, accommodations, and pricing. That said, we’ve also created incredible programs on much shorter timelines—so whenever you’re ready, we’ll make it happen.
Evolve trips are built around meaningful, hands-on learning. We partner with local experts, farms, communities, and organizations so students engage authentically with the culture and environment. Every trip is designed to meet clear educational goals—whether tied to sustainability, history, art, or science etc.
All trips are powered with a full time trip leader. Teachers are our partners. We provide planning resources, pre-departure orientations, and 24/7 support while on the trip. Our goal is to make the experience as smooth as possible so teachers can focus on connecting with their students.
Yes. We work closely with local restaurants and hosts to accommodate all dietary restrictions—vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, or allergies. Families just need to provide details in advance through our registration process, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Packing lists are provided for each destination and season. Essentials usually include comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a small daypack. We also encourage students to pack light and sustainably.
Most groups range from 12–25 students with appropriate teacher and Evolve staff support. We keep ratios low so every student gets personal attention, and chaperones never feel overwhelmed. We also have years of experience running groups that range from 25-200.
We’re committed to supporting our partners at every stage. Whether it’s creating tailored programs or providing fast, reliable communication, you can count on us to deliver exceptional educational travel experiences.
