It’s Canada, and it’s February. That means it’s cold enough to freeze your nostrils together outdoors.
But just because it’s a balmy -40 out doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the great outdoors! In fact, there are a lot of activities that you can only do in winter.
Here are a few ideas of activities to get your creativity rolling:
-Dog sledding
-Snow shoeing
-Cross country skiing
-Downhill skiing and snowboarding (don’t forget about snow blades!)
-Ice fishing
-Snowmobiling
-Snowball fights
-Make snow angels
-Build a snowman
-Build a snow family
-Build a snow Kingdom
-Decree yourself ruler of the snow Kingdom
-Realize that snow Kingdoms aren’t the best investment of time this late in the season
-Return indoors to start planning out next year’s snow Kingdom so you can start in December
So, what do you say? Start filling up those few sunlit hours with some outdoor fun!
