Voyage to Ireland to marvel at the beautiful countryside, for amazing walking treks, and awesome kilt fashion through Dublin and Killarney.

Sample Itinerary

Britain and Ireland Experience

Day 1: Fly to Ireland

Depart on your flight for Ireland

Day 2: Killarney

Evening program and orientation to prepare you for the rest of your trip.

Day 3: Killarney

Cover the Ring of Kerry. Walking this 179km circular road, pass by waterfalls, cathedrals, and panoramic views. Visit the Bog Village Museum before heading to a group dinner.

Day 4: Killarney to Dublin

Visit the 600 year-old Blarney Castle and enjoy a tour. Find the Blarney Stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of the Tower. See the Rock of Cashel which has a long and interesting history. Enjoy some free time here before we travel to Dublin.

Day 5: Dublin

Guided tour of Dublin: Visit Georgian squares, O’Connell Street in the heart of the city, Phoenix Park, and St. Stephen’s Green. Afternoon we’ll see the Book of Kells at Trinity College and visit St. Patrick’s Cathedral which is the National Cathedral of Ireland.

Day 6: Dublin to North Wales

Ferry from Dublin to Holyhead. We’ll explore the area and visit a Welsh castle before traveling through Snowdonia to North Wales.

Day 7: Chester to Lake District

Travel via Chester to the Lake District. Visit Rydal Mount, the historic home and gardens of William Woodsworth, one of the poets who helped make the beautiful mountains and waterways of the Lake District famous.

Day 8: Edinburgh

Take a guided tour of Edinburgh, once dubbed the ‘Athens of the North’ and the capital city of Scotland. Take an excursion to see the largest castle in Scotland, Stirling Castle, and see the Trossachs. Visit Edinburgh Castle, see the William Wallace Monument and enjoy traditional Scottish cuisine and dancing!

Day 9: Yorkshire

Depart for York. When you arrive, take a guided tour of York. We will also be visiting York Minster today.

Day 10: Stratford and Bath Region

Travel to Stratford. Take a tour here and visit the gardens at the cottage of Anne Hathaway, the wife of William Shakespeare. We will also visit Shakespeare’s birthplace and have lunch before traveling to the Bath Region.

Day 11: Bath Region to London

Take a tour of Bath and visit the Roman Baths. See one of the most famous sites in the world, Stonehenge. Then, continue on to London.

Day 12: London

Embark on a guided tour of London: Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Westminster Abbey and the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. Visit Tate Modern to see world-renowned exhibits or enjoy a Thames River Cruise. Group visit to Windsor Castle. Traditional fish and chips dinner on our last night.

Day 13: Homeward Bound

Board our group flight home after an amazing trip to Britain and Ireland.
