Meet your Evolve Tour Director and set off on a guided walking tour of the historic Madrid de los Austrias. Discover iconic landmarks, including the renowned Plaza Mayor, the bustling Puerta del Sol, the majestic Royal Palace, and the awe-inspiring Almudena Cathedral. As you explore these sites, students will dive into Madrid's fascinating history and architecture. Next, we’ll stop for lunch at San Miguel Market, where you’ll have the chance to savor traditional Spanish foods from over 30 different stands. Choose from a variety of delicious options, including freshly prepared tapas, Iberian ham, and local cheeses—offering a true taste of Madrid’s culinary scene. Following lunch, we’ll stroll down Gran Vía, Madrid's most popular street, lined with theaters, shops, and cafés. This is the perfect opportunity for shopping enthusiasts to explore and experience the city's lively atmosphere. The day continues with a visit to Templo de Debod, an ancient Egyptian temple dating back to the 2nd century BC. Here, students will engage in an interactive Spanish activity, learning about the temple's rich history while enjoying a breathtaking sunset view. After a day filled with discovery and exploration, we’ll enjoy a traditional Spanish dinner together as a group. Then, we’ll return to our accommodations, reflecting on the exciting experiences of the day.

    Exploring Madrid’s Art, History, and Culture Start your day with a visit to Museo del Prado, Madrid’s most renowned museum and one of the world’s premier art galleries. Here, students will be immersed in masterpieces by Velázquez, Goya, and El Greco, gaining an appreciation for Spain’s rich artistic heritage. After exploring the museum, we head to the Atocha area for lunch, where students can savor the iconic ‘bocadillo de calamares madrileño’ – a delicious calamari sandwich, a local culinary specialty in Madrid. Next, we visit Retiro Park, where we’ll take part in a fun and interactive Gymkana (Treasure Hunt) along the park's scenic trails. This exciting activity will provide students with a chance to practice their Spanish while discovering the beauty of the park. We’ll then marvel at the Puerta de Alcalá, one of Madrid’s most famous monuments, before strolling down Paseo del Prado to admire the Cibeles and Neptuno Fountains, as well as the majestic City Council building. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a traditional tapas dinner in Barrio de las Letras (the Literary Quarter), an area steeped in history where some of Spain’s greatest writers and thinkers once lived and worked. This day promises a perfect blend of history, culture, and culinary delights, making it an unforgettable experience for students!

Here, students will embark on a guided walking tour through the labyrinth of cobblestone streets, immersing themselves in the city's fascinating history and architectural beauty. Key highlights include a visit to the Santa Maria La Blanca Synagogue, the oldest synagogue in Europe, where students will learn about the city’s rich Jewish history. We will also explore the Cathedral of Toledo, widely considered one of the finest examples of Spanish Gothic architecture. Next, we head to Mirador del Valle, a stunning viewpoint offering a panoramic view of Toledo and the Tagus River, perfect for capturing the beauty of this historic city. In the afternoon, we travel south to Córdoba, where we’ll check into our accommodation for the night. After a relaxing dinner, students will have time to reflect on the day's adventures and look forward to exploring Córdoba in the coming days.

Then, we embark on an exciting tour of Cordoba, exploring its rich history and stunning architecture. First, we’ll visit the Historic Centre of Cordoba, home to monuments that showcase the city’s Roman, Arabic, and Christian influences. We’ll stroll through the Jewish Quarter, delving into the Jewish heritage of southern Spain. Next, we’ll visit the Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba, one of the most impressive examples of Moorish architecture, famous for its unique fusion of Islamic and Christian elements. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the serene Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos, known for its beautiful gardens that have been a historical retreat for Spanish royalty. To end the day, we’ll enjoy a delicious group dinner before unwinding with a visit to an Arab Bathhouse (Hammam). Here, students will experience the centuries-old tradition of relaxation through long baths, a custom inherited from the Romans and Byzantines, providing the perfect way to conclude this enriching day of sightseeing.

    Travel to Seville – Discovering the Heart of Andalusia This morning, we’ll travel to Seville, one of Spain's most iconic cities. After a delicious lunch, we will set off on a guided bike tour, where we’ll explore the rich culture, history, and lifestyle of the Sevillian people. Led by our Spanish-speaking guide, we’ll visit the city’s most renowned landmarks, including the vibrant Triana neighborhood, the charming historic center, the lush María Luisa Park, and the stunning Plaza de España. In the evening, we’ll indulge in our second tapas dinner, savoring authentic flavors of the region. After an exciting day of exploration, we’ll return to our hotel for a well-deserved rest.

  • Day 7: Explore Seville: A Day of History, Culture, and Scenic Views

    Explore Seville: A Day of History, Culture, and Scenic Views Begin your day by visiting the Reales Alcázares de Sevilla, one of the oldest continuously inhabited royal palaces in the world. Wander through its stunning courtyards and lush gardens, where centuries of history come to life in every corner. Afterward, we’ll make our way to the Seville Cathedral, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Students will have the opportunity to climb the Giralda Tower, where they can take in panoramic views of Seville’s iconic skyline. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner before setting off on a serene cruise along the Guadalquivir River. As the sun sets, you’ll get a unique perspective of the city, passing by renowned landmarks like the Triana Bridge and Torre del Oro, all while soaking in the beautiful atmosphere of Seville.

  • Day 8: Travel to Granada

    Travel to Granada Bid farewell to Sevilleas we journey to Granada. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the iconic Alhambra Palace with a local Spanish-speaking guide. This stunning complex, built during the Moorish reign in the 15th century, includes key highlights such as the Alcazaba, the Nasrid Palaces, and the Generalife Gardens—all perched majestically on the hills of Granada. Afterward, we’ll take time to explore the Albayzín, Granada’s historic Moorish quarter, with its narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses that offer a glimpse into the city’s rich past. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner in Albayzín, followed by an unforgettable flamenco show, where you’ll experience the passion and energy of this famous Spanish dance.

  • Day 9: Exploring Granada – History, Views, and Culture

    Exploring Granada – History, Views, and Culture After breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the Granada Cathedral, home to the tombs of Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand, two of Spain's most influential monarchs. From there, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the River Darro, beginning at Plaza Nueva. As we walk up Carrera del Darro, we’ll pass through charming streets lined with history and culture. At the end of the street, we’ll reach Paseo de los Tristes, where we’ll be treated to breathtaking views of the magnificent Alhambra Palace. Continue on to Madrid for the night.

  • Day 10: Travel Home

    This morning, we bid farewell to Spain after days filled with discovery, culture, and unforgettable moments. We transfer to the airport and board our flight home, carrying with us lasting memories of sunlit plazas, historic treasures, and shared adventures that will remain with us long after the journey ends.
