Sample Itinerary

Explore the Coast of California

Day 1: Travel to San Francisco

Travel to San Francisco, by bus or plane. Activities on route depending on departure location. In the afternoon, walk along the famous Golden Gate Bridge! Enjoy our first evening in San Francisco

Day 2: Full Day of San Francisco Activities

Take a tour of the Alcatraz prison. Walk along the boardwalk towards Pier 39, featuring scenic views, sea-lion sightings, eateries, and more. Embark on an afternoon walking tour of San Francisco.  Attend a live theater or music performance this evening!

Day 3: California Coastal Drive – Big Sur

Drive along California’s famous Route 1, enjoying the breathtaking Cliffside and ocean views on route. Guided walking tour of the famous Point Sur Lighthouse. Enjoy the night at a Big Sur lodge.

Day 4: California Coastal Drive – Channel Islands Wildlife Cruise

Continue our scenic drive south along the California coastline. Enjoy a boat cruise along the rugged north shore of Anacapa or Santa Cruz Island - enjoy sightings of sea lions, seals, caves, formations and island birds. Continue south to check into our Los Angeles hotel.

Day 5: Full Day of Los Angeles Activities

Start with a visit to the Petersen Automotive Museum and its impressive collection of classic, modern, and movie cars. In the afternoon, explore the Santa Monica Pier, 3rd Street Promenade, and the famous southern California beach. Tonight, enjoy the lookout and explore the Griffith Observatory and Park.

Day 6: Disneyland!

Enjoy a full day exploring the ‘happiest place on earth’ today, Disneyland! Our park hopper passes will give us access to both Disneyland and California Adventure Park. Stay for the live evening show at the park before returning to our hotel for our final night.

Day 7: Return Home

Say goodbye to your Evolve guide after an incredible trip in California!
