Trip Itinerary

  • Day 1: Parliament, History & National Landmarks

We begin our journey at Parliament Hill, the seat of Canada’s government, where a guided tour takes us through the House of Commons, Senate chambers, and the Library of Parliament. If we time our visit right, we witness the Changing of the Guard, a military ceremony steeped in tradition. Next, we head to the Supreme Court of Canada, where we gain insight into Canada’s judicial system and landmark legal cases through an interactive session. After lunch, we explore the Canadian Museum of History, home to Indigenous artifacts, totem poles, and exhibits tracing Canada’s cultural evolution. A visit to the ByWard Market, one of Canada’s oldest public markets, gives us a taste of local specialties like BeaverTails pastries and fresh maple treats. As night falls, we take part in an illuminated evening tour, where the city’s most famous landmarks light up against the Ottawa skyline.

  • Day 2: Science, Innovation & Outdoor Adventure

Our morning begins at the Canada Science and Technology Museum, where hands-on exhibits explore space, robotics, and groundbreaking Canadian inventions. We then visit the Canadian War Museum, where immersive galleries highlight the stories of soldiers, peacekeepers, and Indigenous warriors who have shaped Canada’s history. After lunch, we embrace Ottawa’s outdoor spirit, choosing between canoeing along the Rideau Canal in the summer or ice skating in the winter. Before departing, we take a final stroll along Major’s Hill Park, reflecting on our journey through Canada’s political, cultural, and natural landscapes. As we say goodbye to Ottawa, we leave with a deeper appreciation for the city’s role in shaping Canada’s national identity, carrying with us the stories, experiences, and connections that have brought history to life.
