The blend of past and present is an awakening of the senses when visiting Peru. Combining a spiritual and cultural journey with epic adventure, here, students will meet indigenous people, travel to Machu Picchu and set up their own permaculture project as they grow as a community.
Permaculture design is based on the principle that we can continually learn from nature and apply the lessons learned to our own lives. By observing and working with nature in the Sacred Valley, students will make more informed decisions about how to use land and water resources and how these actions support people.
Small, slow solutions are effective in fighting climate change and solving other, pressing personal, local and global problems. By learning how to make better use of resources, students will support local communities as they produce more sustainable outcomes.
