Itinerary

Day 1:

Depart for Chile

The adventure will commence with a gathering at YVR Airport, where the group will embark on a flight bound for Santiago, Chile.

Day 2:

Arrive in Pucon

Upon arriving in Santiago, our group will meet our Evolve Tours guide before catching a connecting flight to Pucón.

Upon arrival in Pucón, we will settle into our accommodations and waste no time immersing themselves in the local ambiance, indulging in relaxation at Termas Trancura and enjoying a hearty group dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3:

Hike around Parque Nacional Huerquehue

Nature will take center stage as we hike around Parque Nacional Huerquehue with a knowledgeable local guide, soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

The day will conclude with a group dinner back in Pucón, providing a moment for reflection and camaraderie.

Day 4:

Volcan Villarrica

A thrilling adventure will await us as the group tackles Volcan Villarrica, exploring nearby caves. The day will end with a return to Pucón, where we will relish in the beauty of the town and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 5:

Indigenous culture immersion

We will delve into the culture of the Mapuche indigenous community. The day will start in the town of Quelhue, Mapuche area, where we will visit a Ruca (traditional indigenous house). We will have an entertaining and cultural talk about the customs and traditions of this town and enjoy the Mapuche gastronomy.

After this activity, we will conclude this day soaring through the treetops on a zip line.

Day 6:

San Pedro de Atacama

Transitioning to Atacama, our group will depart Pucón and arrive in San Pedro de Atacama, where we will be divided into smaller groups for an intimate experience. The evening will be spent bonding over dinner, anticipating the adventures to come.

Day 7:

Rainbow Valley, Hierbas Buenas and Cejar Lagoon

Today, we will head out on a tour to the Rainbow Valley, marveling at its vibrant hues and unique rock formations. Later, we will visit Hierbas Buenas to admire petroglyphs and learn about the Likanantay culture.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Atacama Salt Flat, the largest salt deposit in Chile, and the beautiful and mystical turquoise colored Laguna Cejar. Its high salt content creates the floating effect, making it a relaxing bath and a fun experience.

In the evening, we will enjoy an astronomic tour to observe the celestial wonders of Atacama’s night sky.

Day 8:

High Plateau Lagoons & Chaxa Lagoon

Rising early, the group will set out for the High Plateau Lagoons, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Miscanti & Miñiques Lagoon. We will also explore Socaire Town and Chaxa Lagoon, encountering diverse landscapes and wildlife.

The day will conclude with a memorable dinner at the hotel restaurant, reflecting on the day’s discoveries under the starry sky.

Day 9:

Tatio Geysers and Moon Valley

With anticipation, the group will head out on an early morning tour to Tatio Geysers, marveling at the natural spectacle of over 80 active geysers. We will enjoy a refreshing swim in the hot pools before journeying back to San Pedro de Atacama, stopping at scenic spots along the way.

The evening will be spent admiring the sunset at Moon Valley and Tres Marias, creating lasting memories against the backdrop of Atacama’s stunning landscapes.

Day 10:

Aldea de Tulor, Pukara de Quitor, and Catarpe Ayllu

As the adventure draws to a close, we will participate on an archaeological tour, exploring the ancient sites of Aldea de Tulor, Pukara de Quitor, and Catarpe Ayllu.

We will savor our final moments in Atacama before departing for Santiago, where we will prepare for our journey back home. With hearts full of memories and experiences, we will bid farewell to Chile and board our return flight to YVR.

Day 11:

Arrive Home

Arriving back at YVR, the group will reflect on an incredible journey, filled with adventure, discovery, and camaraderie.
