Activities & Attractions
Outdoor Adventure:
- Hike to see Mountain views, primary and secondary forests, river, waterfalls, swimming holes, wildlife, and two stream crossings

Itinerary
Day 1:
TRAVEL TO COSTA RICA!
On Day 1, the journey to Costa Rica begins with a group meeting at the airport and a flight to Liberia. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your Evolve Tours guide, transfer to the hotel by private bus, and enjoy dinner along the way. After checking into the hotel, there will be a group meeting to discuss expectations and goals for the trip.
Day 2:
SURFING AND WHALE WATCHING TOUR, & SNORKELING
Day 2 offers a morning surfing lesson with certified instructors, followed by lunch and relaxation in town. The afternoon features a snorkeling boat tour where you may spot playful dolphins. After returning, the group will have dinner together before heading to the hotel for the night.
Day 3:
SURFING and COFFEE PLANTATIONS
On Day 3, enjoy a guided hike in Manuel Antonio National Park, where you may see monkeys, sloths, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, visit Villa Vanilla for a tour of a local coffee plantation, followed by dinner as a group and return to the hotel.
Day 4:
MASTATAL & INTRODUCTION TO ECO TOURISM
Day 4 takes you to Mastatal, a village known for its commitment to eco-tourism. Participate in a ranch tour and orientation, with lunch prepared from locally grown ingredients. In the afternoon, half the group will join a sustainable food preparation activity while the other half experiences a chocolate-making tour. Dinner and evening activities are held at the ranch.
Day 5:
NATURAL BUILDING WORKSHOP, SUSTAINABLE FOOD PREPARATION, & CHOCOLATE TOUR
Day 5 includes a natural building workshop focused on sustainable construction techniques. After lunch, the group will continue with sustainable food preparation and chocolate-making activities. The evening is spent together for dinner and relaxation.
Day 6:
BUILDING WORKSHOP, HIKING THROUGH THE RAINFOREST, & COMMUNITY REVITALIZATION
On Day 6, continue the natural building workshop in the morning, followed by lunch. The afternoon brings a hike through forests with mountain views, a refreshing swim, and a community service project at the local soccer field. End the day with dinner together.
Day 7:
ZIP-LINING & BALDI HOT SPRINGS
Day 7 starts with breakfast, followed by travel to La Fortuna. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing visit to Baldi Hot Springs. Dinner is served at the resort, and the group checks into a new hotel for the night.
Day 8:
ARENAL VOLCANO, HIKING, & WILDLIFE
Day 8 features a thrilling zip-line adventure through the rainforest with views of Arenal Volcano, followed by lunch and a hike through Arenal National Park, where you can observe lava fields and wildlife. In the evening, enjoy a group dinner en route to your accommodation.
Day 9:
Homeward bound
On Day 9, after breakfast, it’s time to transfer to Liberia Airport to board your flight back. The group arrives in Toronto in the evening and transfers to a hotel.
