Itinerary
Day 1: February 20, 2025
DEPART
Today we will travel to Tahiti via LA. We will arrive in the late afternoon. Upon arrival we will transfer to our hotel in Manhattan beach and head out for a stroll on the beach and have a group dinner.
Overnight in La.
Day 2: February 21, 2025
LAX>TAHITI
After breakfast we will head out on a guided tour of Venice Beach, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.
In the late afternoon we will transfer to LAX for an overnight flight to Tahiti.
Day 3: February 22, 2025
Tahiti
We arrive late in the evening and head straight to our accommodations for a good night’s rest after a long day of traveling.
Day 4: February 23, 2025
Tahiti
MORNING/AFTERNOON
Today we will do a tour around the island of Tahiti with an introduction to the natural and cultural heritage of the island. We will explore the coast of
Tahiti, where the lagoons are crystal clear, and the valleys are rich in abundant vegetation, archeological sites, and wildlife.
We will start our journey at the Archeological site of the Marae Arahurahu and see our first Tiki.
We will then explore the Arahoho Blowhole and the Faarumai Waterfalls (a 20-minute hike to the waterfalls) and the Maraa Caves. We will have lunch on the go prepared by an amazing local cook. We will finish the day at Pointe Venus, swimming in the crystal-clear water and watching the sunset from this dazzling black sand beach.
EVENING
Traditional Welcome group dinner at Rosa Café for a taste of Polynesian savory dishes.
Day 5: February 24, 2025
Tahiti
MORNING
After breakfast, we will walk to the colorful and oldest market in French Polynesia: The Papeete’s Municipal Market* in search of the finest local delicacies, juices, and ice creams. It will be a great time to meet the locals and enjoy their traditional arts and crafts.
We will gather fabulous fresh products from the Papeete’s Market and learn to cook* local dishes and enjoy our culinary creations for lunch.
AFTERNOON
We will visit the Museum of Tahiti and The Islands to learn about the geological formations that created the islands and atolls and the history and culture of French Polynesia.
*If time and weather permits, we will enjoy a swim in a local lagoon and watch a breathtaking sunset.
EVENING

Day 6: February 25, 2025
Tahiti>Moorea
MORNING
After breakfast, we will walk to the Ferry station (5-7 minutes) from the hotel and make the 30-minute journey to Moorea. Upon arriving we will transfer to our accommodation and settle in.
We will enjoy local food for lunch at our accommodation site.
AFTERNOON
We will visit of the Te Fare Natura – L’écomusée. This innovative archistectural structure is home to the Polynesian culture and biodiversity, based on scientific work in biology, geology, anthropology, and ecology.

Day 7: February 26, 2025
Moorea
MORNING
After breakfast, we will take the bus to visit the Lycée Agricole Opunohu, a local agriculture school and sustainable farm. We will walk to discover the citrus, pineapple, papaya, banana and breadfruit gardens and for the brave of hearts approach a beehive and learn about the local honey production. We will learn about their sustainable agricultural practices and practice our French with students teachers and locals.
Lunch at the Lycée where we will enjoy delicious ice creams, fresh juices, or the best coffee on the Island. You will be able to purchase local products such as coffee, honey, and other local delicacies.
AFTERNOON
We will then ascend the Marae Titiroa, a stunning hike where we will see an archeological site of Marae and finish at the top with a scenic view of Moorea.

Day 8: February 27, 2025
Mo'orea
MORNING
Visit the Moorea dolphin center. The Center , provides unique and eco-conscious encounters with dolphins. We will earn about their behaviour, and support marine conservation.
AFTERNOON
Head out on a snorkel trip to Temae Beach* where we will see a variety of tropical fish and corals.

Day 9: February 28, 2025
Mo'orea
MORNING/AFTERNOON
Our morning will be spent on the water. We will meet with a local organization called Coral Gardeners. Their project was born on Mo’orea, in 2017.
They started as a small group of island kids who were witnessing the rapid degradation of the coral reef around us and decided to take action.
Today, the small group of island kids grew to an international collective of scientists, engineers, creators, and advocates determined to save the reef by revolutionizing ocean conservation and generating collaborative action around the world. This is just the beginning of the ocean revolution. We will learn more about the importance of reefs, join a coral-cutting workshop, and plant our very own coral to rebuild a healthy reef.
