Itinerary
Day 1:
Depart for Ottawa
8:15 AM Meet at Annette St Public School and load luggage onto the bus.
8:30 AM Depart for Ottawa via Kingston! Stops along the way for washroom breaks, snacks, and stretching.
11:00 AM Stop for Lunch and to stretch your legs en route
2:00 PM Arrive in Ottawa: Meet at Totem Pole at Byward Market
Embark on a downtown walking tour led by your Evolve Tours director to learn about the National War Memorial, Rideau Canal, the Chateau Laurier and more!
4:00 PM Arrive in Ottawa and head to the Supreme Court, for a Mock Trial and Guided Tour
6:00 PM Dinner as a group
7:30 PM Roll your way to glory in an Evolve Bowling Tournament!
9:00 PM Arrive at our accommodations and check in for the evening.
Day 2:
Ottawa Activities
8:15 AM Breakfast as a group at Algonquin College
9:30 AM Depart
10:00 AM Participate in an educational program with Aboriginal Experiences. Discover the rich culture, teachings and history of Canada’s First Nations’ communities. Participate in a guided tour of the native village, followed by a visit with their Rare & endangered Spirit Horses and other Barnyard Friends.
12:15 PM Take a guided tour of the Canadian War Museum and learn about how Canada’s military history helped shape our country.
1:15 PM Enjoy lunch and shopping at the Rideau Centre.
2:30 PM Arrive at the Royal Canadian Mint and enjoy a guided tour.
4:00 PM Depart on a driving tour of Sussex Drive to see numerous Embassies, Rideau Hall, and the Prime Minister’s Residence.
5:30 PM Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant.
7:15 PM Evening at Fun Haven – Indoor Amusement Park and arcade
9:15 PM Arrive back at the Residence and rest for the night.
Day 3:
Depart for home
8:00 AM Enjoy breakfast as a group at Algonquin College. Check-out and load luggage onto bus.
8:30 AM Depart
9:00 AM Enjoy a guided tour of the Parliament buildings.
10:45 AM Lunch and leisure time at Byward Market.
12:00 PM Say goodbye to Ottawa and depart for home. Stops for restrooms, stretching, and snacks en route.
