Day 1:  March 27, 2025

Overnight Flight

Today we will meet at the airport and depart from Edmonton on an overnight flight bound for Ireland.

Day 2:  March 28, 2025

Arrive in Ireland

MORNING/AFTERNOON

Upon landing in Dublin we will meet up with your Evolve tour leader. We will transfer to our hotel to unload our backs and freshen up.

Today we will head out for a full day of exploration the capitals city. Ourwalking tour of Dublin, will let us dive deep into Dublins rich history, culture, and iconic landmarks. From the bustling energy of Grafton Street to the historic charm of the Temple Bar district.

Day 3:  March 29, 2025

Dublin

MORNING

Rise and shine to a new day of exploration in Dublin, starting with a delicious breakfast to fuel our adventures.

Today, we will dive deeper into the heart and soul of the city with a guided tour led by an expert local guide. As we cruise Dublin’s streets, we will soak in the elegant architecture of its Georgian squares, stroll down the iconic O’Connell Street, and revel in the serenity of St. Stephen’s Green.

Then, escape the urban hustle and bustle with a visit to the sprawling Phoenix Park, where lush greenery and historic monuments await. Your journey through Dublin wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the majestic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a true architectural gem.

AFTERNOON

Finally, we will immerse ourselfs in the stories of Irish emigration at EPIC, the interactive museum that brings history to life. In the late afternoon we will have some  free time to explore Dublin in supervised small groups. Use the time to relax, shop or try some new food.

Day 4:  March 30, 2025

Dublin>Belfast

Bid farewell to Dublin as we embark on a scenic journey to Belfast, the vibrant capital of Northern Ireland. We will sit back and relax as we travel through picturesque landscapes, with our destination set on the horizon.

Upon arrival in Belfast, we wil dive straight into the city’s rich history with a guided tour led by a knowledgeable local guide. From the Lower Falls to Shankill Row, each stop offers a glimpse into Belfast’s complex past, shaped by centuries of tradition and turmoil. We will admire the striking murals that adorn the city’s streets, each telling a story of resilience and hope.

Our journey through Belfast culminates with a visit to the acclaimed Titanic Belfast Museum, where you’ll uncover the tragic tale of the ill-fated Titanic through immersive exhibits and artifacts. After a day filled with exploration and discovery, settle into your hotel in Belfast for a well-deserved rest.

Day 5:  March 31, 2025

Belfast | Cairnryan | Alloway | Edinburgh Region

Today, we will head out on a cross-country adventure as we journey from Belfast to the enchanting Edinburgh region. We will begin our day with a scenic ferry ride from Belfast to Cairnryan, offering panoramic views of the Irish Sea and rugged coastline.

From there, we will travel via Alloway, the birthplace of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, where you can immerse yourself in literary history and picturesque surroundings. As we make our way toward the Edinburgh region, soak in the beauty of the Scottish countryside, with rolling hills and quaint villages passing by outside your window.

Upon arrival in the Edinburgh region, check-in to our hotel and prepare to explore the historic capital of Scotland.

Day 6:  April 1, 2025

Edinburgh Region

Wake up to a day of excitement and adventure as we get ready for a guided tour of Edinburgh, a city steeped in history, culture, and charm.

Our day begins with a visit to the iconic Edinburgh Castle, perched majestically atop Castle Rock. We will explore this historic fortress, where tales of kings and queens, battles and sieges, come to life against the backdrop of stunning panoramic views. Then we will set off on a leisurely walking tour of Edinburgh, winding our way through the medieval streets of the Old Town and the elegant avenues of the New Town.

As we stroll, we will admire the city’s architectural wonders, from ancient stone buildings to neoclassical masterpieces. With each step, uncover the secrets and stories that have shaped Edinburgh into the vibrant city it is today. Day 7:  April 2, 2025

Edinburgh Region

Get ready for another day of adventure and excitement  as we venture into the picturesque landscapes surrounding the Edinburgh region. Today our adventure begins with a visit to the iconic William Wallace Monument, a towering tribute to Scotland’s national hero. Marvel at the grandeur of this historic monument as we learn about the legendary exploits of William Wallace, whose courage and determination left an indelible mark on Scottish history.

Next, we will journey back in time as we make our way to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most historically significant fortresses. Perched high atop a volcanic crag, this imposing stronghold offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the historic city of Stirling below. We will step inside the castle walls and immerse ourselves in centuries of Scottish history, from royal coronations to bloody battles.

As we continue our journey through the Scottish countryside, we will prepare for a truly unique experience: a sheepdog demonstration (seasonal). Watch in awe as skilled shepherds and their trusty canine companions showcase their remarkable teamwork and precision in herding sheep. Departing from the Edinburgh region, embark on a scenic drive through the stunning landscapes of the Scottish countryside, with your destination set on the legendary shores of Loch Ness.

Arriving at Loch Ness, prepare to embark on a memorable cruise across the dark, mysterious waters of Scotland’s most famous loch. Keep your eyes peeled for a glimpse of the elusive Loch Ness Monster, whose myth has captured the imagination of travelers for centuries. As you glide across the tranquil waters, soak in the breathtaking scenery that surrounds you, from towering mountains to verdant forests.

Departing from our accommodations, we will embark on a scenic drive through the rugged beauty of the Scottish Highlands, with towering mountains and cascading waterfalls painting a dramatic backdrop.

As we wind our way through Glencoe, we will pause to drink in the awe-inspiring beauty of this ancient valley, steeped in history and legend. Marvel at the rugged peaks and dramatic cliffs that rise majestically from the valley floor, creating a landscape of unparalleled beauty and grandeur.

Our journey through Glencoe culminates with a visit to the Glencoe Visitor Centre, where we can delve deeper into the history, geology, and wildlife of this iconic Scottish landmark.
