Hawaii

We will begin our adventure with an early morning departure from Virginia, full of excitement and anticipation. Our flight to Honolulu, Hawaii, will take approximately 10-12 hours with layovers. Upon arrival in Honolulu in the late afternoon or evening, we will transfer to our hotel. After check-in, we will take some time to relax and unwind after the long journey, perhaps enjoying a quiet evening by the pool or taking a short walk to get a first glimpse of Waikiki.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will head out to spend the morning relaxing on the iconic Waikiki Beach, soaking up the sun and splashing in the waves. For lunch, we will have free time to eat at local restaurants on the main strip.

In the afternoon, as a group, we will explore downtown Honolulu, visiting historic sites such as Iolani Palace and the King Kamehameha Statue and more.  We’ll end the day with dinner at a local Hawaiian restaurant, followed by an evening stroll along Waikiki Beach to enjoy the ocean breeze.

We will start our day with breakfast at the hotel before heading out early to visit Pearl Harbor. At Pearl Harbor, we will take a guided tour of the USS Arizona Memorial, learning about its historical significance and paying our respects. After the tour, we will have lunch nearby.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Pacific Aviation Museum, where we can explore exhibits and learn about aviation history. We will return to the hotel to relax and then enjoy dinner at a beachfront restaurant.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the Dole Plantation for a guided tour. At the plantation, we will experience a pineapple tasting and explore the gardens. We will then continue our journey to the North Shore, where we will explore famous beaches like Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach. For lunch, we will stop at a local food truck to try the renowned garlic shrimp.

In the late afternoon, we will return to the hotel. Dinner will be at a local restaurant, where we can share our experiences of the day.

Today we will set out for Hanauma Bay for a morning snorkeling excursion. We will snorkel in the clear, turquoise waters, observing vibrant marine life. We will have a packed lunch on the beach, taking in the beautiful surroundings.

The afternoon will be free for additional snorkeling, sunbathing, or beach combing. We will return to the hotel and diner.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to a zip line park for an exhilarating adventure. As a group, we will zip through the lush landscapes, experiencing the thrill and breathtaking high definition views.

For lunch, we will stop at a local cafe. The afternoon will be free for shopping, relaxing, or exploring more of Honolulu.

In the evening, we will attend a traditional Luau dinner, enjoying authentic Hawaiian cuisine and captivating performances.

Today we will have a full-day guided tour of Oahu’s volcanic landscapes. We will hike to the summit of Diamond Head, taking in the panoramic views of Honolulu and the Pacific Ocean. During the tour, we will have a packed lunch, enjoying it amidst the stunning scenery. We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon to rest.

Dinner will be at a local restaurant, where we can discuss the highlights of our volcanic adventure.

After breakfast at the hotel we will have some free time at the hotel before we join a guided food tour of Honolulu. We will sample local delicacies and learn about Hawaii’s culinary traditions. Lunch will be included as part of the food tour.

The afternoon will be free for personal exploration in a group setting. We will regroup for dinner at a local restaurant, sharing our favorite finds from the food tour.

Today we will visit various beaches around Oahu, enjoying swimming,  and beach games. For lunch, we will have a picnic on the beach, taking in the tranquil atmosphere. We will return to the hotel in the late afternoon to freshen up. Our farewell dinner will be at a beachfront restaurant, where we can reflect on our incredible journey and the memories we’ve made.

We will enjoy a final breakfast at the hotel and then check out. After checking out, we will transfer to the airport for our flight back to Virginia. The flight will take approximately 10-12 hours with layovers. We will arrive in Virginia in the late evening, concluding our unforgettable Hawaiian adventure.
