After we land in Rome we will transfer onto our private coach bus and begin our journey with a scenic travel from Rome to Naples, where we will immerse themselves in the rich history and vibrant culture of southern Italy.
Upon arrival in Naples we will check into our hotel and head out for an outing. We will visit the renowned Archaeological Museum of Naples, home to an extensive collection of artifacts from Pompeii and Herculaneum. Our visit will offer us a unique opportunity to explore ancient Roman history and understand the daily life of the people who lived before the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Afterward, we will travel to the ancient city of Pompeii, where students can walk through the remarkably preserved ruins, gaining firsthand insight into the fascinating and tragic history of this iconic site.
Overnight Naples
Day 3:
MORNING
We will start our day with a guided tour of the legendary archaeological site of Pompeii. In the morning, explore the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient city, buried by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Walk through the ancient streets, visit the grand amphitheater, and see the poignant casts of the city’s inhabitants, gaining a profound understanding of Roman life and the tragic events that led to the city’s preservation.
AFTERNOON
In the afternoon, continue your historical exploration with a guided tour of Herculaneum. Although smaller than Pompeii, Herculaneum offers a unique and equally fascinating glimpse into the past. In the afternoon, we will take a guided tour of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill. Continue to the Roman Forum, the heart of ancient Rome’s political, commercial, and social life, where the ruins of temples, basilicas, and public spaces tell the story of Rome’s imperial grandeur. Finally, ascend Palatine Hill, the legendary birthplace of Rome, for breathtaking views and insights into the lives of Rome’s early inhabitants.

In the afternoon, we will visit the renowned Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s David. Stand in awe before this iconic masterpiece, examining the intricate details and artistry that make it one of the most celebrated sculptures in the world.
