Arrive in France
Welcome to the French Riviera! Upon arrival at Nice Cote-d’Azur Airport, you’ll be greeted by your bilingual tour guide and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Nice. Take some time to settle in and soak up the Mediterranean atmosphere before joining your group for a welcome dinner. Get to know your fellow travelers and prepare for an exciting journey ahead.
Day 3: April 19, 2025
Nimes
After breakfast, we’ll depart for Nimes, a city steeped in ancient history. Explore the impressive Arenes de Nîmes, a stunning Roman amphitheater that has stood the test of time. Stroll through the serene Jardin de la Fontaine, a beautiful park dotted with fountains and Roman ruins. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and heritage of this charming city before returning to Nice in the evening.
Day 4: April 20, 2025
Discovering Avignon
Today, we venture to Avignon, home to the iconic Palais des Papes (Papal Palace) and the picturesque Pont d’Avignon. Explore the winding streets of the historic center, lined with charming cafes and boutiques. Visit the Musée de la Romanité to delve deeper into the region’s Roman past. After a full day of exploration, we return to Nice for another night of relaxation.
Day 5: April 21, 2025
Monaco or Cannes Excursion
Indulge in the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera with an optional excursion to Monaco or Cannes. Marvel at the luxury yachts in Monaco’s harbor, stroll through the elegant streets of Monte Carlo, or try your luck at the famous Casino de Monte-Carlo. Alternatively, explore the chic beaches and bustling promenade of Cannes, known for its prestigious film festival. Return to Nice in the evening for a final night on the coast.
Day 6: April 22, 2025
Departure to Paris
Bid farewell to the sun-drenched shores of the French Riviera as we board our flight to Paris, the City of Lights. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to our centrally located hotel and settle in for the next leg of our journey. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps taking a stroll along the Seine or enjoying a traditional French dinner at a local bistro.

Iconic Landmarks of Paris
Today, we dive into the heart of Parisian culture and history. Visit the awe-inspiring Notre Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. Descend into the underground world of the Catacombes, where millions of skeletons line the ancient tunnels beneath the city.
Day 8: April 24, 2025
Louvre
Today, explore the world-renowned Louvre Museum, home to thousands of works of art, including the iconic Mona Lisa.
Explore the nearby Palais Royal, a former royal residence known for its stunning architecture and tranquil courtyards. Wander through the elegant arcades, admire the iconic striped columns of the Cour d’Honneur, and discover hidden gems such as the Colonnes de Buren, a striking contemporary art installation.

Eiffel Tower and Montmartre
Ascend the iconic Eiffel Tower for panoramic views of Paris from the third floor. Marvel at the city’s iconic landmarks spread out below you, from the Arc de Triomphe to the Sacré Cœur Basilica. After lunch, wander through the charming streets of Montmartre, a historic neighborhood beloved by artists and bohemians. Visit the majestic Sacré Cœur Basilica and soak in the breathtaking views of the city.

Versailles Palace
Journey outside of Paris to the magnificent Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the opulent halls and lavish gardens of this historic palace, once the seat of power for the French monarchy. Admire the grandeur of the Hall of Mirrors, stroll through the meticulously landscaped gardens, and learn about the palace’s fascinating history. Return to Paris in the afternoon for an evening at leisure.

Seine River Cruise and Pastry Class
Embark on a leisurely cruise along the Seine River with Les Bateaux Mouches. Admire the iconic landmarks of Paris from a new perspective as you glide past the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Louvre Museum, and the Eiffel Tower. In the afternoon, indulge your sweet tooth with a hands-on pastry class, where you’ll learn the secrets of French baking from a local expert. Enjoy your creations before heading out to explore more of Paris on your own.
Day 11: April 28, 2025
Arc de Triomphe and Le musée de l’Armée
Today, we visit the iconic Arc de Triomphe, a symbol of French national pride and triumph. Climb to the top of this historic monument for panoramic views of the bustling Champs-Élysées below. Then, delve into the military history of France with a visit to Le musée de l’Armée, located within the historic Les Invalides complex. Explore the museum’s extensive collection of artifacts, weapons, and armor, spanning centuries of French military history.
Day 12: April 29, 2025
Departure from Paris
After breakfast, bid farewell to the City of Lights as we transfer to Charles de Gaulle Airport for our return flight home. Reflect on the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories made throughout our journey as we board our flight back to Saskatoon. Arrive home with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and culture of France, eager to share our adventures with friends and family.
