Walk alongside penguins on Isla Magdalena

In the morning, sail through the Strait of Magellan to the Magdalena and Marta Islands.

After checking-in downtown for this unique adventure, we will head to Bahía Laredo by transfer to board speedboats; for 45 minutes to Magdalena Island, where we will disembark for 1 hour with our guide to learn about the natural habitat of the Magellanic Penguins, in one of the largest colonies in South America. We continue our journey to Isla Marta to spot sea lions (if weather conditions allow), imperial cormorants and hundreds of southern gulls. Then return to the pier and Punta Arenas. We will also have the opportunity, if luck is with us, to be able to spot Southern Dolphins, Overas Dolphins and Sei Whales!

In the afternoon, enjoy a walking city tour of Punta Arenas. You will discover the charm of this far city founded on the coast of the Strait of Magellan by pioneers who left a valuable and cultural heritage with traditions that still remain these days. Enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan from the famous Mirador Hill and visit the historical city center including interesting monuments such as Muñoz Gamero main square.

In the evening, enjoy a group dinner.

Day 4:  January 8, 2026

Travel to Puerto Natales

In the morning, travel from Punta Arenas to the town of Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine. This is a 3 hours’ drive through the vast Patagonian steppe.

Upon arrival in Puerto Natales, check in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, embark on a walking tour of the picturesque town of Puerto Natales and its coastal promenade to see the landscapes on the Señoret channel, the picturesque piers, monuments and the little houses that face the calm sea.

If you are a fauna lover, especially birds, a walk along the coast of Puerto Natales allows you to see seagulls, black-necked swans, cormorants and flamingos, ideal for taking pictures!

In the evening, enjoy a group dinner.

Day 5:  January 9, 2026

Hike in Torres del Paine

Today, we will inmerse ourselves into Torres del Paine National Park for a hiking adventure.

There are plenty of trails to choose from. Our suggestion is Sarmiento Lake Gate.

This is an excursion that connects two of the four accesses that the Torres del Paine National Park has, allowing you to visit a little-known sector that is very attractive for wildlife observation. Its landscape environment is undoubtedly a place worth visiting. Upon entering the park through the Lago Sarmiento gate, we will begin our path with a gentle incline with a side view of the imposing lake of the same name. Almost all of this route borders private land, a common hunting area for the largest predator in the region; the Puma.

After an hour of walking, we will reach an overhang where it is possible to see a series of cave paintings dating back more than 6,000 years. The conditions of this sector allowed it to be frequented by indigenous groups for thousands of years in search of food throughout the American continent. At this site we will be able to photograph the surroundings and understand the rugged geography associated with the rise of high peaks and enormous areas of land towards the eastern area.

After 2 hours of walking, we will reach the main access to the Torres del Paine National Park: Laguna Amarga gate. Before beginning the descent between conglomerate rocks, it will be possible to observe the sinuous shape of the Paine River. After a stop to use services, we will return to the vehicle to go to the Cascada Paine sector. The day continues towards Cañadón Macho, an area where it is possible to observe large groups of guanacos that coexist with species such as the Rhea, Gray Fox, Condor, Moray Eagle among others.

Once we have completed our journey through this extensive valley, we will begin our return to the city of Puerto Natales with the feeling of having experienced a true day of adventure, far from crowds and in the wild environments of Southern Patagonia.

In the evening, enjoy a group dinner.

Day 6:  January 10, 2026

Grey Glacier Navigation

Today, we will head to Torres del Paine again to discover one if its wonders: Grey Glacier.

The Grey Glacier Navigation is one of the must-see attractions if you visit Torres del Paine National Park. This 3-hour trip takes place aboard a catamaran that allows you to enjoy a unique landscape composed of floating icebergs, lush vegetation and imposing mountains.

To get to the boarding area we will need to walk 35 to 40 minutes (1.5 km.) from the parking area located on the banks of the Pingo River. We will cross a bridge over the homonymous river, we will walk through a yearly lenga forest and then we will continue along the width of “Playa Grey” to be able to board the catamaran.

The Grey Glacier is part of the southern ice fields and is located in the western sector of the Torres del Paine National Park, it is an ice mass approximately 6 km wide and a height that fluctuates between 20 and 30 meters. Its homonymous lake reaches a depth of more than 500 meters in some areas.

During the navigation we approach the different faces of the Glacier allowing us to observe the beauty and magnitude of this ice giant. Once the activity is finished, we must make the same return journey to the parking lot.

After the navigation, we will continue hiking and discovering the National Park based on the recommendations of our guides and the preferences of the group.

Back in Puerto Natales, enjoy a group dinner.

Day 7:  January 11, 2026

Patagonian Ranch

During the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, much of Patagonia belonged to a livestock society called Explotadora Tierra del Fuego, and one of its checkpoints was this ranch: Estancia Lago Pinto.

Today, we will learn all about the customs and country life of Patagonia: Horseback rides, sheepdog demonstrations and the unmissable roast lamb on the stick through the eyes and direct experiences of the owner of the ranch and his family.

Back in Puerto Natales, enjoy a group dinner.

Day 8:  January 12, 2026

Travel back to Punta Arenas

Today, it’s time to say farewell to Puerto Natales and head back to Punta Arenas.

After arriving in Punta Arena and checking in at the hotel, we will take the opportunity to enjoy some free time in the afternoon to explore the town and maybe do some souvenir shopping.

In the evening, enjoy a Farewell dinner.

Day 9:  January 13, 2025

It’s time to say goodbye to Patagonia’s stunning landscapes.
