Departure to Berlin. Meet as a group at the airport, check-in for our flight, and board the overnight journey to Berlin, eagerly anticipating the adventures ahead.
Day 2: March 25, 2025
Exploring Berlin's Landmarks
Arrive in Berlin, Germany! After landing, we transfer to our hotel, where we check in and drop off our luggage. Embark on a walking tour of Berlin’s iconic landmarks, including Unter den Linden, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Gestapo HQ, Hitler’s Bunker, and the Holocaust Memorial. Following a free lunch, we continue our exploration along Kurfürstendamm, soaking in the vibrant energy of the city. The evening culminates in a welcome dinner and a visit to the picturesque Gendarmenmarkt.
Day 3: March 26, 2025
Discovering Berlin's History and Culture
Set out on a stroll through Alexanderplatz and Museum Island. Delving into the rich history housed within the island’s museums, we marvel at artifacts spanning centuries. Next, we ascend the Reichstag’s glass dome for panoramic views of Berlin, pausing for reflection at the solemn Holocaust Memorial. After dinner, we immerse ourselves in art and history at the Eastside Gallery, a poignant testament to the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Day 4: March 27, 2025
Immersion in Berlin's Heritage
Following breakfast, we delve deeper into Berlin’s past with visits to the Berlin Wall Memorial and the Topography of Terror Museum. These poignant sites offer profound insights into the city’s tumultuous history. We then explore Checkpoint Charlie and delve into the Jewish Museum’s rich tapestry of exhibits. As evening falls, we reconvene for a group dinner, fostering connections and reflecting on our shared experiences.
Day 5: March 28, 2025
Journey to Prague via Dresden
Today marks our departure from Berlin as we journey towards Prague via Dresden. En route, we pause in Dresden to explore its meticulously restored historical center and visit landmarks such as the Zwinger Palace. Continuing our journey, we arrive at Terezín, where we pay homage to the victims of its infamous concentration camp. Upon reaching Prague, we settle into our accommodations and enjoy a well-deserved group dinner.

Prague: City of Towers and Tales
Our day begins with a guided walking tour of Prague, a city steeped in medieval charm and architectural wonders. From the storied Charles Bridge to the majestic Prague Castle, we traverse cobblestone streets and delve into the city’s rich heritage. After lunch, we have free time to explore sites like the Lennon Wall and the Jewish Quarter before regrouping for dinner and an evening stroll.

Český Krumlov: A Glimpse of Bohemian Beauty
Departing Prague, we venture to Český Krumlov, a picturesque village nestled along the Vltava River. Here, we marvel at the 13th-century Český Krumlov Castle and delve into the whimsical world of Czech puppetry at the Marionette Museum. As the day draws to a close, we come together for a traditional Czech dinner and an enchanting evening stroll through the village’s charming streets.

Reflecting on History at Auschwitz-Birkenau
Today, we embark on a sobering journey to Auschwitz-Birkenau, where we pay homage to the victims of one of history’s darkest chapters. Guided by poignant narratives, we explore the memorial site, bearing witness to the atrocities of the Holocaust. In the evening, we gather to reflect on our experiences and prepare for a day of service learning.

Service Learning in Oświęcim and Arrival in Krakow
Our day is dedicated to service learning in Oświęcim, as we contribute to the preservation of Auschwitz’s memory through meaningful projects. Amidst the somber echoes of history, we work alongside local communities, honoring the resilience of the human spirit. As evening falls, we depart for Krakow, where we enjoy a group dinner and a guided tour of the city’s storied streets.
Day 10: April 2, 2025
Cultural Exploration in Krakow
In Krakow, we delve into the city’s diverse tapestry of culture and history, exploring sites like the Wieliczka Salt Mine and Oskar Schindler’s Factory. After a day of exploration, we gather for a group dinner before immersing ourselves in the vibrant ambiance of Krakow’s Jewish Quarter.
