2 Day Toronto School Trip

Toronto School Trip

This 2-day Toronto school trip let us discover the different aspects of this vibrant city. We played as professional hockey players, travelled back in time within the ROM, dived into the waters of Ripley's Aquarium, cheered for the Blue Jays and much more! HOCKEY HALL OF FAME The Hockey Hall of Fame is the sanctuary of Ice Hockey! Here we saw a replica of the Montreal Canadian dressing room, an exhibit of 90 goalie masks and the famous Stanley Cup! Students and teachers had fun playing interactive games and acting as goalies, shooters or as sport announcers. ROM The Royal Ontario Museum displays art, world culture and natural history. It is the largest museum in Canada. Upon arriving, we travelled back in time, discovering fossils and dinosaurs millions of years old. We walked among the cultures of Greek Romans and Egyptians. We finished in The Schad Gallery exploring life on planet earth: life in the past, present and future. RIPLEY'S AQUARIUM The Ripley's Aquarium holds 5.7 million litres (1.5 million gallons) of water and it is home to more than 20,000 animals. We walked in the" Dangerous Lagoon" home to the longest moving sidewalk in North America! We walked among Sand Tiger Sharks, Green Sea Turtles, Queensland Grouper, and many others! We had the opportunity to pet the stingrays and the Scarlet Cleaner Shrimps gave us the manicure! Ripley's Aquarium   BLUE JAYS GAME The first day ended with the long-awaited Blue Jays game. The Toronto team played against the New York Yankees. Unfortunately the Blue Jays didn't win, but we cheered anyways!   Check out our Toronto school trip ideas here.
